Product Description

The Biopanda Toxoplasma gondii Antigen Rapid Test qualitatively detects Toxoplasma gondii Antigen (Toxo Ag) from an animal’s faecal, serum or plasma specimen.

Test procedure

1. 1. For Faecal Specimen:
      • Collect a sample of the animal’s faeces using the swab provided
      • Place the swab containing the sample into the assay buffer tube and stir thoroughly
      • Position the cassette horizontally and using the pipette, slowly drip 3 drops of the mixture into the well

For Serum/Plasma Specimen:

1. • Collect a dog’s fresh whole blood sample and separate serum or plasma from blood as soon as possible to avoid haemolysis
   • Position the cassette horizontally and using the pipette, slowly drip 1 drop of the sample into the well followed immediately by 2 drops of buffer
2. Results are read between 5-10 minutes. After 15 minutes results are considered invalid.
