The Biopanda Lactoferrin test kit provides a means for the quantitative detection of lactoferrin in bovine serum or milk.

The features of the test are as followed:

• Method: Microtiter-based ELISA, in a breakaway microwell format (12 x 8 wells)
• Type of sample: Milk or Serum
• Reagent volume: 100 µl per well
• Conjugate: Horseradish peroxidase at working dilution (ready-to-use)
• Substrate: TMB (tetramethylbenzidine) (single component) (ready-to-use)
• Test overrun time: less than 60 minutes
• Shelf life: at least 2 years from manufacture when stored at 2°C – 8°C

The ELISA kit is a non-radioactive, rapid assay that can be completed within 1 hour using simple colorimetric detection. The kit includes pre-coated and pre-blocked stabilised 96-well plate sealed in vacuum bags which can be separated into 8-well strips.
