Product Description

The Biopanda Feline Panleukopenia Virus Ag Test kit qualitatively detects Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV Ag) from a cat’s faeces or vomit. This test is a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay and results can be obtained between five and ten minutes.

How to use the test

• Step 1: Collect a sample of the cat’s faeces or vomit using the swab.
• Step 2: Place the swab sample into the assay buffer tube and stir thoroughly.
• Step 3: Position the cassette on a flat, clean surface and holding the pipette vertically, slowly drip 3 drops of the sample into the specimen well.
• Step 4: Leave the cassette to sit for several minutes. Results are read between 5-10 minutes. After 10 minutes results are considered invalid.

Storage Conditions

Store the kit between 2-30°C and ensure the kits are not frozen or stored in direct sunlight. The test is valid for 18 months until the expiration date printed on the foil wrapping.
