SAMPLE KITS

How to make your own Sample Kits

Sometimes you are not able to wait for a replacement mailing kit from BIODX. Follow these simple instructions to assemble your own kit.
Samples can be refrigerated until placed into the post.
 Sheep, Cattle, Goats and Camelids
  • 10 Ziplock small plastic bags for each flock to be tested
  • One Ziplock larger plastic bag for each flock to be tested
  • Download the applicable submission form
  • A permanent marker indelible ink felt tip pen or a sticker
  • An Australia post Express post or standard post red plastic satchel. Use of Express Post is recommended at peak mail times such as Christmas.
  1. Place around 8 – 10 “fresh and still steaming pellets” or a “fresh and still steaming dollop” the size of a tablespoon into each bag. Collect 10 bags per flock or, if you have fewer animals to test then collect one per animal.
  2. Seal each bag and place into the  second (larger) bag
  3. Complete the submission form making sure that the flocks or individual animals described on your submission form have exactly the same label on your larger plastic bag. Use the ink pen or place a sticker on the outside of the larger bag.
  4. Make sure all writing is clear and that you have clearly asked us for a bulk test or an individual test for the worm counts.
  5. Place all nags into the postal sachet/box.
  6. Include payment information on the submission form (if purchase from the website, just include the order number).
