The Biopanda Leptospira hardjo IgM/IgG ELISA test kit provides a means for the qualitative detection of IgM and IgG antibodies directed to Leptospira serovar hardjo in bovine serum. The test may aid in the determination of the animal’s serological status, or may aid in the diagnosis of disease associated with serovar hardjo at early stage. The features of the test are as followed:

• Both IgM and IgG antibodies can be detected at the same time, covering whole stage of infection
• Method: Microtiter-based ELISA, in a breakaway microwell format (12 x 8 wells)
• Type of sample: Serum
• Reagent volume: 100 µl per well
• Controls: Negative control, Positive control (ready-to-use)
• Conjugate: Horseradish peroxidase at working dilution (ready-to-use)
• Substrate: TMB (tetramethylbenzidine) (single component) (ready-to-use)
• Test overrun time: less than 60 minutes
• Shelf life: at least 2 years from manufacture when stored at 2°C – 8°C

The ELISA kit is a non-radioactive, rapid assay that can be completed within 1 hour using simple colorimetric detection. The kit includes pre-coated and pre-blocked stabilised 96-well plate sealed in vacuum bags which can be separated into 8-well strips.
